Building Log Books
Building Log Books are required by Part L of the Building Regulations which will improve access to information for facilities professionals or others responsible for managing building services, enabling them to improve the operation and energy efficiency of their buildings.
Log books encourage a record of ongoing building energy performance, which should help improve energy efficiency. All buildings should be complete with a building log book when the building is handed over to the client. The building log should comply with Part 'L' of the building regulations and CIBSE TM31.
